I've currently got 254 dark side of the moonies,
Even more worthless are my 850 solid fuels, and 2193 flight caterings.
Good job that we remain (very) positive about the future of our game!

Wow Nutty, that's a lot of catering. I noticed you have lots of catering facilities. I have 4 myself and GI won't let me build anymore. I get the 'you have too many buildings of the same type' message.

Launch doesn't happen until the launchers exceed (in a blue pad 2 launch) 2000 points. If you had 1042, and he got up to as high as 957 (thus totaling 1999 and not yet setting off the launch), he could add either 120 or 360 and in either case, overtake you for first place while in the same move exceeding the 2000 points and setting off the launch.

Fred is saying that to prevent a malicious player from hijacking, you'd have to exceed 1000 points (and also 1042) to ensure you don't get hijacked. Math tells me that the magic number is 1181. In this case, you have 1181, and that leaves as many as 819 (for a total of 1999) that another player can get without setting off the launch. If they add the max item of 360 to their 819 points, they can only get up to 1179. So you need 1181 to prevent a sole hijacker. 1180 would allow a tie.

AMENDED POST: My bad - 1180 is magic number to prevent hijack. That would result in the other player maxing at 1179. A tie is not probable with this many points.

I have 445 Dark Sides and 135 solid fuel.

A bit more than 100 'Dark Side of the Moon' and 50 something solid fuel. Hardly launch now. I replaced the cosmic fuel station with a hotel, thanks to Captain Flop.
