In response to the last ticket I sent in, GI didn't even bother to send any answer at all. They just sent the questionnaire asking if I was satisfied with the customer service I had received!!! Now, they really did surprise me with that one!

Have you tried using a Secret Faucet? Makes the fuel situation easier to deal with!

No I haven't tried yet. I only have 1 and I'm wondering when is the best time to use it.
Anything from Machu Pichu yet? This is not encouraging.

I wonder how some people have finished this quest already. Did they just blow loads of fuel and greens? Because if that's what it takes GI can take a hike as far as I'm concerned.

I just got a response from GI re the hydraulic tools. Apparently, the tools start dropping from every flight after you complete a 'certain' quest. What that quest is, I have no idea. Like others, a tool now drops from every flight but I'm still not getting anything from my UFOs. I wish GI would quit giving us useless answers to our questions and just come right out and say, 'I haven't got a clue!'

Here's the response I got. I especially love the part where they say it will be fixed in the next update!! Just priceless!

Bas Relief has started to fall. (3 now) The secret faucet doubles the amount of fuel you are producing, so you want to use it when you can stay in touch with your game very regularly for the 6 hours it is in effect. I've been waiting for it to build up just enough to bring a plane home early and send it right back out again. I've had a plane running back and forth to Machu Pichu all morning and it hasn't cost me any extra fuel (just the cost of the faucet). I'm going to do it again with jets when I have time. Thankfully, I still have those greens from my windfall!

Well, at least you got a response! We should make up a form complaint ticket that we all use. Something where we just fill in the blanks but still looks like a form letter. Maybe they'd start getting the hint after they got the same form from a bunch of different people. We like to be treated like humans.

Please don't give up Tele, we all know GI are a pain and they're definitions are certainly different to mine.

Why don't you help Luke's boy Rigby rebuild his control centre, or maybe add his iPhone game randy bobandy. At least you can feel as if you have achieved something, unlike these frustrating quests

please send magnometers or plasma to both Troglodyte69 (iPad) & Troglodyte96 (iPhone), it's fun seeing what arrives & fuel is always handy..

I have been able to add Randy Bobandy, I can't add Rigby Useless I told you lol In fact my problem is that I hate to loose So I'm highly frustrated right now because there is no way I would be able to end the quest without the tools.

I now only write to GI for shear amusement. I try and guess which of their standard replies they will send me in response to my problem. They never send an original response from an actual human being.
As to the hydraulic problem, mine (like some others on the forum) started dropping from every flight right around the point where you are now. It was really frustrating up till then! Keep at it just a little longer and you will get to that spot where they start to drop. You really are almost there! (Providing your game is working like some of the rest of ours) we'll miss you if you leave us! And you know you're addicted.....

Thanks Frenetta I don't think my game works like yours I am at 22 flights no, so nearly my 1st star and I am still collected only 2 hydraulic tools. I know I'm addicted lol But I am also more frustrated than addicted today It will probably pass though

Some of these responses should be printed and framed. Priceless is right! I think we probably all know GI's responses by know. We should start sending tickets to each other and responding. It seems we know as much as GI does.

It would be interesting to know what quest lol I am still stuck with the little quest where you have to collect 1 collection from Area 51, 1 tool and use 1 map. I have everything 3 times except the last item obviously At the moment I have been flying there 22 times and collected only 2 tools. Maybe it is because I have not completed my first collection. I cross my fingers and hope it'll get better

GI told Jgb that you had to pass a "certain" quest for the tools to start dropping regularly but of course they didn't say which quest. Have you been doing the side quests? Maybe it's one of them??? It's probably something in the UFO quest itself but who knows what? I'll try and remember what else was going on when they started to drop but my memory is garbage....I understand your frustration. We will all help you through this!
