Sometime next year I plan to be in the area of Zell am See, so thinking ahead at present. Does anyone have any experience of using A1.net pay-as-you-go SIM card (Internet mit Wertkarte; B.free Internet) in Austria, please?

TIA, Nick

(As posted in the introductions, I am not an iPad owner yet, but soon to change at last...)

What exactly do you need to know?

I am from Austria, and I'm using an A1 SIM card, but not a pay-as-you-go SIM (not B.free).

Thanks J.A.
My main thoughts are simply about the ease of setting up for internet access and general use with an iPad. (I don't mean coverage, as that is dependent upon location, etc.)

BTW, I am looking at an Air 2 with wifi and cellular.

Afaik you just have to insert the Nano SIM, the card has to be activated, and it should start working. You'll get these in A1 Shops in Austria. There is one of them in Zell am See as well.

J.A. Just to come back and thank you once again as all was straight forward and went really well. A1 in Zell am See were very helpful and now the SIM is due for another outing near Innsbruck next year
