I have the new ipad, my first idevice, and i was impressed by it, so decided to wait for the iphone 5 instead of galaxy s3.

Right now i have an lg android smartphone, n i can do all the stuff i do in my android , in my idevice, except for the theming customizations. (even after jb, theming isnt as good as androids imo)

So i would like to know your opinions about the advantages and disadvantages of using 2 idevices, or the advantages of having the 2 most popular mobile operating systems by means of ipad and android smartphone :)

I love how everything is synchronized between my iDevices. :) I would go for the iPhone!

Many of the better app are universal, which means you buy them once and they work on both the iPhone and iPad (and not just looking like big iPhone apps).

Worst case, almost all iPhone apps (that don't actually involve using a phone) work on the iPad in emulation mode (small or 2x). Ugly, but if you need it, a big help.

That said, there are advantages both ways. It all depends on whether you want the widest range of options (multiple platforms), or the best integrated options (keep it in the family).
