Think I've figured it out. The people who had iMessage enabled did not have the SMS option turned on and that's why I wasn't getting their texts. Thanks to all who helped me.

No this didn't help. I keep iMessage off on my phone. Just recently I stopped getting texts from people who have iMessage "on" their phone. What has changed?

DO you think Apple will ever give us blink notifications on our iPhones and iPads? I don't mean the camera flash blinking either. I'd like somewhere on the homescreen to blink when I miss a call, text or email. Been wanting this for a while.

It's back working! I turned the printer on, pulled the plug and then plugged it in again. Now my devices see it through Air Print. Thanks for the help.

MacBook with maverick. iPad is using current ios. Pixma mg3220. I can only print wired from my MacBook.
