The official Twitter application for iOS has been given a major overhaul in version 6.0, bringing a completely refreshed look and feel. The update comes with the ability to swipe between multiple timelines and also between your Home, Activity, and More tabs.

Also, it’s much easier to get to your direct messages, both on the iPhone and the iPad versions. Users can now send photos to each other via direct message, and notification has been improved, letting users view replies, retweets, and favorites only from the people that you follow. The update also includes tweets in the application's search feature.

Here’s the full changelog from the App Store:
    • Refreshed look and feel. Home, Activity and Discover now available by swiping in Timelines. Easier access to DMs.
    • Send and receive photos via DMs.
    • Choose to view replies, retweets, and favorites from only the people that you follow.
    • Access tweets from people you follow and near you, directly from search results.
    • Save web articles to read later with Safari Reading List
The updated iOS Twitter app is compatible with iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch and can be downloaded from iTunes following the direct link from below.
