shutting wifi off when charging app

I manage a set of 30 ipad 2 in a university setting. Our wifi is overloaded when all of the students are on campus and actively using the Internet. Does any one know if there is an app whose default setting will automatically shut off the wifi connection with the iPad is placed into the charging cart? Thanks.

Unfortunately, nothing comes to mind for a stock iPad (or for a jail broke one, for that matter). So, all I can suggest is that you manually turn off the WiFi before plugging the iPad(s) in. Sorry.
