My ipad2 appears fine in the horizontal position but when I turn the iPad to the up and down position, the screen fades away. This is happening regarless of apps or icons I choose and I have already tried a hard shutdown. The ipad2 is approximately 14 months old. I would appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks.
