Hi there and welcome.

We have deleted your other post as it asked the same question as this one and fragments the discussion, thank you for your understanding.

There is lots of good advice and info on here plus plenty of members all too willing to help with any problems.

Remember, search is your friend. If you can't find the answer you need and you post a question then give as much info as you can to help members help you i.e. iPad 1 or 2, etc. and iOS version and name of app if the problem is with a specific app........and please don't forget to read the forum rules http://www.ipadforums.net/forum-rules-help-info/2119-forum-rules-everybody-please-read.html

These are the hacking section rules for all you jail breakers (and would be jail breakers) http://www.ipadforums.net/ipad-hacking/2892-hacking-section-rules-please-read.html

We also have an app for this forum. The link to download the app is: Discussion Forum for iPad Users for iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad on the iTunes App Store and a great tutorial/guide for using the IPF App here http://www.ipadforums.net/new-membe...sistance/107524-ipad-forums-app-tutorial.html

You can download the manual for your iPad here http://help.apple.com/ipad/6/ and here http://support.apple.com/manuals/ and in iBooks search for "iPad user guide for" and you will find free comprehensive manuals for iOS 4, 5, 6, etc.

If you have other Apple products or are interested in other Apple kit then why not join our sister forum too at http://www.appleforums.net/ and for iPhone users, come and join in the discussion over at http://www.iphoneforums.net

Are you able to access other webites with Safari? There could be a problem with your connection.
Also try to access the website through another browser. If you're able to view dropshots with another one, then Safari is the reason for your problem.
There's also the possibility that the site can't be accessed at the moment. I tried to find it, but got that error as well.

I also found news: since July the Dropshots app for iPad is available. That would be another option to view the pictures there.

If you are talking about the "Free video Hosting and Photo Sharing" website (www.dropshots.com) - I think it's gone. In other words, it's not you, it's them. When I tried to load the site, I got a notice that said "Bad Request (Invalid Hostname)." The same happens when I try to go to the web site from the app description (in the AppStore).

So, either the website is down for maintenance, is broken (and they're trying to fix it) or it's no longer a valid/working site (the company has closed it).

To be honest, I don't know why the site is not working. The only thing I CAN tell you for sure is that it is not you. So, maybe try sending the developer an e-mail to find out what is happening with the web site? It's the only thing I can think of to do. Sorry.

Marilyn

EDIT: Well, never mind. After I posted the above, I pressed on the link. Now, it works! Go figure. I guess there was just a glitch. So, try again?
