Problem connecting my ipad to the wre54g range expander

I, I installed the WRE54G on my network and have 2 solid blue lights on it but even 3 feet away I can't connect to it.
It does not even appear in my networks under utilities.
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to make it work?

I am new here and I am hoping you can help with a problem I have connecting my iPad for some time. I have a Linksys WRT150N router together with 2 WRE54G expanders. Everything runs fine on this network and all my Mac's and Iphone have no problems connecting either directly to the router or via the expanders.
