Please help!!

Hello,

My Ipad has recently been pinched. As soon as it was pinched I locked it remotely and set it to send me an email when it was turned on. Could the ipad have been turned on and jailbroken without me knowing about it.

The iPad has to have access to the internet before it can send you that email; so yes, if the thief is careful to power up the iPad without allowing it to connect to the internet they can restore it without triggering the email.

This is trickier with a 3G iPad, but doable. If you are prepared to do the necessary steps quickly you can probably start the iPad's restore before the 3G connection stabilizes enough to send the email.
