IvVe been lucky and received an iPad 2 today. I currently have an iPhone and I think I've figured out the icloud! Anyway there are no photos appearing in photos, even when I take one it's empty. I've restarted the iPad but still no luck. Do I have a faulty iPad!?

Are you looking at the Photos tab, or the Camera Roll album?

If you are looking at PhotoStream, it can take quite a while to update, depending on your internet connection.

Ok. I'll post the usual fixes below, but other than that I don't know. It's rather strange. Hold in mind that you have 90 days of free tech support from Apple, so don't hesitate to give them a call. If they determine it's a hardware problem you'll get a free replacement or repair.

When you have problems with an app it's a good idea to clear it from RAM.

Close/Clear the app: With the problem app closed, double tap on the Home button to get the multitask bar. Tap and hold on any icon in the bar until they jiggle, then tap the minus sign on the problem app. This will remove it from RAM and insure a clean start the next time you launch the app.

If that does not work try a restart,
Restart: Hold down the power button until the power off slider appears. Slide it off. When the iPad finishes shutting down, hold down the power button again until the Apple logo appears.

and then a reset if that does not work.

Reset: Hold down the power and home buttons until the Apple logo appears. The iPad will reboot. This usually takes a bit longer than a restart.
