Hi all. I've been a windows person my whole long life...60+ years. Got an Android tablet about 3 years ago and never satisfied with it. Clunky, slow, heavy, unresponsive etc.

I just bought off Ebay, a used iPad 2, 32mb ,9.7" It should arrive shortly

My question is: what is the best way to get started? No manual comes with Tablet

Can i access my Kindle ebook acount? My Netflix account? Download pictures from my Windows PC? If there is another place for a new person to ask such things, sorry.

Looking forward to the new tablet.
thanks

Hi and welcome to the forum. It's good to "see" you and we hope you enjoy your visits.

The answer to all your question is "Yes." When you get the iPad, you'll be able to go to the AppStore (on the device) and download the [free] Kindle and Netflix apps. Then, once you sign in to each app with the respective account information, you'll be able to read books or watch movies.

And, yes, you can put pictures on the iPad from your Windows PC.

In preparation for the iPad, may I suggest you install the latest version of iTunes on your PC and create an Apple ID - if you haven't already done so. Then, you'll be ready to dive right in when the iPad arrives.

Congrats on your purchase and know that, if you have any questions, we're here and we'll be glad to help.
