I have a 20 part series that is a dvd rip now in avi file with idx and sub files. I can convert the avi file to mp4 without problem, but dont get any subtitles! Have tried embeddung the sub file without luckhave tried Buzz player and cinexplayer but also no subs. Any ideas?

Try AvplayerHD it's a very good app for playing all video files and seems to have no problems with subs.

No luck

This doesn't seem to have any provision for idx and sub files.When I transfer the avi, idx and sub files to avplayerHD it doesnt play the subtitles and in the settings it shows no subtitles.
