Never. Update to iOs 5.0.1 and wait a week or two. Keep an eye on the iPad hacking section of this forum.

For the iPad2, there is no jailbreak for iOS 4.3.5 in the works that we know of. The only one being worked on is for iOS 5.0.1, but that's not been released. And, no one knows when it will be released.
