Finally, it let me upload at 800 px. I had to try different resolutions, quitting the app between each trial.

    LannyC and JA

So glad you both have been able to now upload your pics! A Databank backup of our site may have been the cause of your problems.

    Just glad it's working now.......

    Lovely pics btw too!! ;)

    Thank you.
I also wonder why I couldn't upload a screenshot with this photo.

On Monday 28th April i went to the Bonhams Car auctions held at Royal Airforce Museum in Hendon North London. Took these pictures on my iPhone 4s and made a slide video on iPhoto in my macbook. The lighting in the museum was awful, my camera struggled, and so did other visitors with better cameras. Dealer who check the cars out with a fine tooth comb was also unhappy with the Museum lighting. The 2 "Barn Find" red and yellow Jaguar E Types sold for £27,000+ and £30,000+ at the hammer, ridiculous price, the world have gone mad. As you will see in the video, perfectly good examples of Jaguar E Types were available and they went for less money

leelai, here is a full size photo of it! It isVERY traditional, not what they are making for tourists! I will try to include some of the tourists ones in another photo so you can see the difference. image-1384470422.jpg image-3157839320.jpg image-148200011.jpg I want to frame it with the glass that will protect it from the UV Rays etc. The first photo is my avatar for the moment, until I can find one for spring to replace it! :);) :);)
These molas are probably best described as reverse appliqués. That is, they have several layers of cloth and holes are cut through the upper layers to expose the lower ones. Each seam around these cutouts is precisely hand sewn to show no edges. Then, they often attach additional colors to the top of the layers to provide more layers and more color

Oh my......they're just beautiful and what a lot of work that goes into these!

They must take quite a time to make......I can understand why you would want to protect it....best to keep away from any sunlight at all I would say!

Just love the colours! Thank you for this!
