I have been aware for a number of years that viewing my wife's iPad DCIM folder content in Windows File Explorer, images are allocated in folders as "100APPLE", "101APPLE", etc., whereas they are in folders such as "Family", "Friends", etc. on the iPad, itself (I believe this used not to be the case).
A Backup and Restore from the iPad to an Android tablet via a MacBook has resulted in 100+ images not being on the tablet, which I need to identify.
1. I wonder if there is an option anywhere to have the DCIM content display as the iPad, itself
2. Failing that, might there be a means to compare the differences in the two sets of files?
