How do I modify the toolbar at the bottom of the screen?

When I start iPad Air I have a toolbar at the bottom of the screen.

I want to delete two of the icons and replace them with two of my personal preference.

How can I do that?

You mean the dock?

You can drag it out of there. Press and hold, drag it to your desired place, and do the same for the apps you want to put in the dock. You can't delete them to get it out of the dock. You can replace the, instead.

and you can have up to 6 apps in the dock.
