Hi and welcome to the Forum!
Along the bottom of the App you will see some headings, pressing Current will take you to all the threads that members are participating in now. If one interests you, press on it. If you would like to post in a thread you will see an arrow in a box top right, press this and it will give you some options, press Reply to thread and then compose your post, you will see the send button top right, pressing this will post your post, on the left is cancel, pressing this will take you back to the thread.
When you post in a thread you are automatically Subscribed to this thread and will get a notification when anyone posts a new post. You will see a subscribed heading along the bottom and this will show a notification when you have one, a little red number will be seen above the heading. If you see a thread you like and want to follow it, press the arrow thingy and one of the options is to subscribe to the thread, press this and you are given options of if you want an email also sent to you, this is up to you.
You will also see a Forum heading along the bottom, press this and a page will load with more sections, press Discussions and this will then load with a lot of the different Sub Forums we have. Pressing any of these will take you to the threads in that section and off you go. Just have a read of what interests you and you will learn quite a lot. There is a back button up the top on the left which will take you back to where you were, or just press the headings again along the bottom.
One more thing when after you post your post, you find you have made a mistake and want to fix it, look at your post and on the right is a little blue arrow, press this and it will give you some options, one of which is Edit, press this and it will load your post again, do your correction and then send it, top right, done. You will notice members will quote someone else's post within their post, to do this, go to their post and press the little arrow on the post and then press Quote, this will bring up their post, you then write your post and press send. It's a good way of directing your post to this persons post. So everyone knows you are answering their post.
I hope this makes sense for you, but as you get more experience, it will.

There is a wealth of information already here in the many threads we have so doing some searches will answer most of the questions you have. If then you cannot find the answer you are seeking then by all means post your question. There are many friendly and informed members here only too willing to help you.
