Everyone likes a good old browse through a shopping catalogue from time to time, and now Google is bringing the catalogue browsing experience to the iPad with its brand new Google Catalogs app. The free app is, according to TUAW, a one-stop shop for catalogues from many different types of retailers, including the likes of Neiman Marcus, Williams-Sonoma, Sephora, Urban Outfitters, Macys, and Bare Essentials, to name but a few! The app doesn’t just enable you to flick through your favourite catalogues either, having a fair degree of interactivity about it. You can zoom in on things you like, tap the tags to learn pricing and other details, and also access more pictures and even videos of the selected item. The app will even let you know where you can buy the item in your area, or direct you to where you can buy it online. Google says it plans to add lots of new catalogues as soon as possible, and is also asking retailers who want the app to feature their catalogue to get in touch.
