    Not sure what you are asking.

    Word is Microsoft Word, a word processor. Excel is Microsoft Excel, a spreadsheet program. Neither is available for the iPad but Pages and Numbers are. For the most part, they are (generally) compatible with the Microsoft programs.

    Rumors (and it is only rumor) say that Microsoft may be releasing these apps sometime in 2012.

    In the mean time here are some reviews of the more popular Office compatible apps. Like Bob, I prefer Pages, but your needs may differ.
