Drop down menus

You visit a web site. It has drop down menus ... e.g. Tire sizes. Your size is below the line. When you try to scroll within the drop down box to find your tire size, ...instead of scrolling the tire sizes, the entire screen moves!!

How do you scroll within a drop down menu?

Three adults kept trying this to no avail. I finally handed it to my 13-year-old niece. She put two fingers together on the drop down & rotated them in a slight circular motion. Then we could move the scroll. Kids rule!!!! :~)
