In its place I have put the Featured Dragon Island.
This is a FGI. I really like it. I'm dying for more islands, because people keep coming up with such cool ideas. I almost wish, for lack of extra islands, that we could select an island and "store" that island's layout and design, then redesign it with the option to "pull it back up" later out of storage. Flick a switch and, presto, it reverts to a previous setting. Anyhow, island looks great, Pops. Awesome idea.

Well...I am about 82,000 treats from getting my last Chrome to level 15, and having a Gold Air shrine. Big Yips!
Before all the hoopla last night, my plan was to continue with Rusts, so that I could work on my Water shrine and continue with my Metal, now up to 26 level 15's.
Now I'm undecided about pursuing Blooms to take advantage of the three elements. Problem: I already have six Rusts.

Something Different

I have found that the primary benefit of the Colosseum competition is in obtaining XP points. Once you're at level 30 and you are willing to buy some gems, it seems like the cost is often greater than the return. So I have been infrequently entering a dragon into the competition. Which made it seem like a big waste of space. And lots of people here have designed Colosseum Islands much nicer than mine. So I figured what the heck and I got rid of the Colosseum.

In its place I have put the Featured Dragon Island. The initial dragon featured is the Bloom, one I like a lot. To start things off, there are three triple boosted Blooms, two level 15 adults and a level 15 Turbo Baby in a Cold habitat.

In the future I'll probably use new ones, but not exclusively. I will also feature dragons that I simply like a lot, like the Clover and the Bluefire.

Looking for advice: should I go for gold shrines? If so, what do you all think about this plan: breed magnetics or rusts constantly to get exp (which I need) and cash (to buy food) and in the meantime breed blooms and pans for the shrines. Smurf? Pops? Bueller? Or is it too much bother?

Yeah I might have forgotten to post in this thread. The Easter Comp has been decided and I have allotted who is sending Gems to who. Please let me know if there are any problems. And post in that thread AFTER you have sent your gem.

Will think about a new comp after this one has been squared away.

It's something for the long haul. What else are you going to do whilst waiting for the next dragon?

Would be happy to do up a plan of attack for you, and am keen to work it out according to breed times. Give me your numbers ... if you dare ...

I was looking in the store in decorations and i saw the Vernal fountain and underneath the picture of it it says 0/25 is there any reason why you can only have 25 of them?
