Draft email

Having just upgraded to iOS 8, I saved an email to my draft folder on my native email app. I was using my Gmail account. The email saved fine but when I went to my Blackberry phone, the email was showing there. Obviously, this is something to do with my Gmail settings. It occurred on the last upgrade but I cannot remember what I did to resolve the issue.
Any advice welcome.
