My school got a bunch of iPads for the AP Econ students to use. I found a really awesome app for note taking but its paid so most people wont get it. I got it and signed in on my friends iPad and installed the app for her to use without paying for it. I was wondering how many times i can do this. I know it used to be you could authorize 7 different computers to play music you bought off the iTunes store. Is this the same concept?

Sure, you can share apps with people not in your family, such as your friends, but then it'd be called piracy (aka: stealing). This is not accepted behavior here at iPadForums.net (plus, it's illegal).

Your friend needs to buy her own apps.
