Difficulty in Playing my own songs

When I click on the Music icon, a screen with Apple Music (with a picture of a girl with headphones) appears and the player is not appearing.

Strange. Try restarting or resetting the iPad.

Reset; hold down the home and power buttons until the Apple logo appears. (Nothing is lost or deleted)

If that does not work try and show us a screenshot. Maybe someone knows what's going on.

Thank you for that immediate reply... It worked and hope it would continue to work.The biggest problem is the volume. My iPad 2 seems to have lost the volume quite a bit. Tried what is seen in the forum. But not getting the volume I used to get earlier.. Can you help?

In Settings > Music check to see if you have Volume Limit turned on. The Equalizer might have some effect as well.
