Can't view my buildings

I recently got the game and have been dedicated to building my city the only problem is that I can not view my buildings, it's not as big of a deal that I can't see them when I first buy them but when I upgrade them I want to see the change and I can't any suggestions would be much appreciated

Try Stopping the application on your device or restarting the device, this usually fixes it for me.
