Cannot sync mail accounts

    For months I synced my Mail accounts successfully and I'm pretty sure they stopped syncing right after (or soon after) I upgraded to iPad OS 4.

    When I sync, I ask via iTunes to sync all my mail accounts, but get an error message reading "iTunes could not sync mail accounts to the iPad because an error occurred remapping record identifiers." It says to try resyncing and I have and it still doesn't work and it says "if the problem persists, replace the mail account on the iPad from the info tab in the iPad preferences" by which I think it means the info tab in iTunes. I have tried deselecting accounts and selecting them again and nothing works.

    How do I get itunes to sync my Mail accounts successfully?
