Will mini work with itunes 10.7

New mini just arrived today (Dec. 8). Will I be able to hook it up to iTunes 10.7 or will I be forced to download 11 ?

It is my opinion that you should always upgrade to the latest iTunes release. But, just an opinion.

It will work just fine with 10.7.

Of course it works with 10.7 but know that 11.0 is quite an improvement.

Actually, the box says iTunes 11 on it, giving one the impression that it is needed for the mini. The question is quite reasonable.

I think Apple jumped the gun on that one. iTunes 11 was supposed to be available a month before it finally appeared. I was a bit dubious myself when I bought the mini for my son, but figured if it did need 11 it would be around before Christmas.
