Why use tapatalk?

What are the advantages to using this app?

Mostly, the ability to have more than one forum in the same app (instead of an app for each forum). If you only visit iPF, then it would mostly be a matter of how much you like the interface compared to the official app.

I, personally, like Tapatalk because I can make the text larger. As a "person of age" with horrid eyesight, I need a larger font.

Of course, and as always, YMMV.

I bought it for my android, anyone know if I need to rebuy for iPad?

You'll have to buy the iOS version from the App Store. The Android app will not be compatible, even if there was a way to get it onto the iPad.
