1. Wu Liang Ye (New York City) has hands down the best sweet & sour chicken in the world.
2. Saddle Ranch Chop House (Los Angeles) has the best mac & cheese I've ever had. Can't wait to go back there when I visit my friend in January.
3. Uptown Diner (Minneapolis) has incredible breakfast food.
Aww haha yeah Denny's has good breakfast. But it's a chain. (IHOP is a similar American chain, which I think is slightly better.) I tend to think individually owned restaurants or smaller chains have better food.
Yes, I know but we were only there two weeks and we didn't get to explore very much. We were at Disney too much! Then we tootled down to miami. What an experience. My hubby's biggest thrill was watching a lightning display over the sea!
I think I will always remember fresh crabs cooked in an earth pot with loads of spices on a beach in Sri Lanka more than 20 years ago ! The best I have ever had .
I also remember the mayonnaise , made with coconut oil ....horrible ;-))))
We make fresh coconut milk and cream every day.
Have never made mayo with it, nor will I ever .
thanks
But I do use it in all my cakes and slices.
It's delish
Best food eaten was I Amsterdam in a small Vietnamese restaurant. I cannot remember the name, but the spring rolls, stir fry and atmosphere were absolutely wonderful!!
My second best restaurant was at a Disney World. Ohana at the polynesian resort was absolutely wonderful! Hayle66, hope you were able to go there during your last visit to Disney!!
