Eve of Destruction by Barry McGuire

Good song. I had a version of that by The Incredible Shrinking Dickies. Yes, it was ghastly. I think they played it at twice speed.

The Incredible Shrinking Dickies? I guess I can consider myself fortunate to have never heard of them until now.;)
They're not in iTunes.

Is this what you were thinking of?

Probably not, but they are on YouTube, and the song is even worse than I remember. Don't say I didn't warn you.

I already found it, check my edited post.

I think we have a theme for a new thread here! What is the worst song you have ever heard?

BTW, your link won't play on mobile devices unless you use the YouPlayer app.

Oh, please, no. Some of the garbage I've heard, I'd get stoned to death if I posted links to it.

The Dickies also murdered Paranoid. Warning to Black Sabbath fans. Do not play!!!

I, unfortunately, am subjecting myself to it right now.

Actually, I think we do have a worst song thread. I'll go a-digging.

No. If we do I can't find it. Maybe it's on the iphone forum. I seemed to remember seeing one.

May their vocal cords be removed without anesthetic. They actually made money doing this?

The 70s were strange times, musically speaking, especially in the UK.

No. The punk scene left me relatively unscathed. I always liked my rock a little more musical. About the most raucous I ever heard was Hawkwind. They borrowed Lemmy from Motörhead. His voice was not exactly angelic.
