What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

I've been inside the 'AgustaWestland' helo that flies from the Ornge base in Ottawa. It's an advanced care lifting body equipped to provide intensive care during patient transport.

I hope you were just a passenger or visitor and not a patient.

Just finished mowing for the THIRD time this week. Thank goodness I downsized. The old place was one and a half acres which took three hours on the John Deere rider mower, followed by one hour with the hand mower, followed by one hour with the trimmer/weed whacker. It only takes half an hour here.

My husband always says I'd look good on one...yeah right honey...so I can mow the lawn??

Sorry--that's why we have lawn service! ;)

In 2nd gear your hair would be blowing in the wind! Gotta say the wind blown look alway turns up the room temp for me. ;)

It would be fun to drive one...they are pretty with all that green and yellow...but I don't think my Mouse ears would do well blowing back like that! ;)

My goodness! All that mowing......I'm glad you've moved too! ;)

Your grass must grow very quickly!

That made me laugh out loud.....and I have only one brain cell working! Feels like I'm at the bottom of the ocean with one ( comparable kilobyte ?) of oxygen coming to my brain! Good one! As always, I think you could even get my curmudgeon of a roommate to maybe breathe in thru his nose! Can anyone tell me if there really was a pre-atomic bomb like explosion in Halifax when a ship carrying crude oil explode in the last 2 hundred yrs or so?
I think it happened during WW1. If it did and this isn't just a movie of fiction it is very gruesome. Graham Greene, Peter Postlethwaite.

On December 6, 1917, the SS Mont-Blanc, a French cargo ship carrying high explosives, exploded in Halifax Harbour, causing the largest man-made explosion prior to the atomic bomb. The size of the blast is estimated to be the equivalent of 29,000 tons of TNT.http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halifax_Explosion

There certainly was a huge explosion.....I've read a few books on that disaster!

Wow I'm jealous. It takes nearly 3 hours to mow for me and I only have to mow the front yard. My house sits in the middle of 5 acres, so I mow the front riding the John Deere while my dad tackles the back on a Dixie Chopper ZTR.

It's because of all the rain this year, pretty much rains most days at sometime or other.

See!

Plus feeding, you can actually watch it grow!

Mine had cruise control, does yours?

Sitting in Hungary, waiting for my daughter to get ready (still 45 minutes to go), using my smartphone as hotspot to post here.

Have been walking around for an hour, taking pictures. Continue reading a book.
