Feeling good about a community effort my radio station co-ordinated today.
During a 13 hour (radio only) broadcast, assisted by social media, we raised $5.5 million dollars for hospice and palliative care programs in our city.
It's a coming together of individual listeners and corporate sponsors that makes this effort a greater success each year.
My boss works tirelessly, months in advance, to put the pieces together.
