I'm cleaning up and exploring after upgrading to OS X Mavericks on my iMac; and updating (or buying) the entire iOS and OS X iWorks and iLife suites.

Should keep me busy for a while.


Oh yes, installed the iOS 7.03 update on both devices too.

I'm still without sound on my ipad except with a speaker. no ipad notifications ,no Siri voice.I did a back to factory reset and pretty much ascertained I have a dead interior speaker. I stopped in at our Apple store in the city on our way to holiday road trip and I am 2 months past warranties .I needed my ipad for holidays and now with a critically I'll elderly relative 2 provinces away I am making do with out notification sounds because I need my email.Apple store figures $100. Bucks for a replacement ..speaker..I hope.

Are you referring to apps running ? If so , double click home button then swipe up on the apps you want to close .

I do the 4 finger swipe up to show my running apps.When I double click on home button I get one page.if I double click again I have my running apps below and multiple pages I can slide sideways but a one finger slide up does nothing. if I tap and hold and swipe nada. I'm baffled.???

I did it!,,!!! thank you everyone...Iv'e been reading apple support and finally selected a tutorial.! iv'e been trying to swipe the space around the icon and the window is what moves. Dumb. it actually works.Already my battery is increasing.
