What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

Am wondering if it's worth buying a refurb ipod touch or wait and buy the Ipad Mini (2). Currently, my iPod touch (4th gen) battery lasts for only 2 hours and than it dies. Decisions, Decisions!

I'm going to get an iPod classic to dump all of my music on. Then at contract renewal time, my iPhone 4 will become an iPod touch (more or less) and I can strip the music off my iPad 2. Haven't decided yet whether to go with the iPhone 5 or try something different. The z10 looks good, but...

I already have an ipod classic for my music. I like the ipod touch for being able to put apps on and also getting on the forum when I am at the gym etc.

I don't know...I might have a few gift cards floating somewhere that I can use up to get a new one...but than there's that Mini that everybody raves about (ahem...Gabe!) :)

I have an iPod classic as well. The hard drive in mine makes annoying sounds as it spins down, almost like its sighing. Does yours make that sound? It annoys me a lot. That's what I like about the iPad, it's completely silent!

Speaking of iPods, I just watched the Simpsons episode "myPods and Broomsticks". The Mapple Store includes myPods, myPads, myPhones, myCubes, and Mapple Computers, as well as the Brainiac Bar. You can buy fake earbuds "myPhonies" for $40. Also, Mapple will send beautifully packaged boxes full of "myBills" to your door, and the founder, "Steve Mobs" lives deep under the sea. Surface dwellers can visit via a flash drive shaped submarine, which plugs into the underwater Mapple Headquarter's USB port.

My ipod classic does not make that noise at all, Goofy! Maybe you use yours more than mine. I have mine set up in my study connected to portable speakers. I turn it on when I am on my laptop working.

I didn't see that episode of Simpsons..but I do have the Mapple Store on my Simpson's Tapped out game! The episode sounds cute, I may have to add that to my watch list with "Dr. Who!" :)

I have a video iPod from about 2005 or 2006 and it makes no such noise. Maybe yours is damaged?

Right now I'm trying to "persuade" a couple of anklesnappers to quit wielding death and destruction on their iPads and get ready to go swimming. "Just a few more minutes" seems to be something of a battle-cry.

Just picked up Chinese food for a late lunch. Doing the usual...laundry and also gathering tax documents!

Bummer about the taxes.:( Up here in Canada we have until midnight on April 30th to send in our tax returns, two weeks longer than you.:)
