I've been meaning to get one of those forever.....didn't know they had a bigger one.

Let us know if its a whole lot louder than the smaller ones.

Love the two I have -- great battery life, easy interface, loud, easily portable -- I often start an audiobook and carry the Jambox all over the house while I do stuff like get something to eat, exercise and shower. I just want one that's loud enough to hear while I'm blow drying my hair, lol. I'm hoping the larger one does that, but I couldn't justify spending nearly $300 for that.

Well they do look like they would tower over me! I'm 5ft 2in. Awesome.
My hubby says that in 1975 they were 15 - 30ft high. All the cars in the high street were under the snow and you couldn't see the hedgerows. Very disorientating. Up North is were most of the snow drifts are this year.

Did you see least night's news story from the Scottish island of Arran? The drifts, power cuts etc rival some of the scenes and tales from Canada.

I was also looking at the new Bose speakers but they are quite a bit larger I think.....I'm going to go googling!

For the US price, the Bose Bluetooth speaker and the larger Jambox are comparable. The Bose gets about half the battery life of the larger JBox, and the Bose is more than twice as heavy, if portability matters. (I compared the specs recently, but don't know about sound quality comparison.)

I have a Bose sound dock, which has good sound, but I don't notice a diff with my Jamboxes. I'm admittedly not a sound afficionado.

I'm not one of those sound geeks either, unlike my hubby who has to play with all the levels to get it just right. He has his Bose system and he's very pleased with the sound quality.

As long as I can hear it is good enough for me, so I think the jambox would be fine for me. Thanks!
