Interesting how some European countries use the comma instead of a dot as a decimal place to designate "two and a half".

Yes, when you are describing 2 and a half in decimal format, it would be 2.5 or 2 1/2 pages.

2 1/2 is also used here.
The comma is used in Germany and Switzerland, too.
