What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

Moon--glad that you are enjoying your lovely Birthday gift--congrats again on your new mini!

And now...this mouse needs to get ready for bed. Have to get a little adjusted to the Daylight Savings Time for tomorrow. ....losing an hour of sleep will just be so painful tomorrow morning at 3 am which will be the new 4 PM!

Good Night everybody--hope the remaining evening is swell! :)

Looking for the 06upgrade for my DD IPAD. She is still running 4.3. Anyone have any ideas? I can't seem to find it!

Love it! Haven't even touched the big one but maybe twice today! I'm a very proficient thumb typer and the mini is perfect for that!

It's like that.....you feel the big ones weight all the more too. Glad you're enjoying it.....loving mine too! ;)

Are you looking for the update in settings on your iPad? If so, you won't find it there. Since your iPad is still on iOS 4.3, you have to connect your iPad to iTunes on your computer and do the update through iTunes. OTA updates initiated through the software update section in settings weren't possible until iOS 5.

You will need to do this one connected to your PC. OTA (over the air) updates didn't commence until after the upgrade to OS 5 which was a very big update.

So back your ipad up, and make sure you have the latest iTunes installed on your PC. Also a good idea to disable any virus protection/firewall for the duration of the update.

It's going to take quite a while and is dependent on what you already have on your iPad, you're also jumping across many updates too.

Here are some links to help you also.

Trying to install OpenOffice on my Mac. Mountain Lion apparently doesn't like unidentified developers.

DD says THANK YOU! She has a iPad 2 but was told at work she might loose some of her work on it, so.........she was afraid to update.
