What's new

What are you guys doing right NOW??? ;)

Do you ski yourself Johanna? With another hot day in Adelaide today, I wish I was there just watching the snow flakes slowly settling down

No, I'm not really doing sports. I'm too afraid something could happen, to be true. The only things I do is walking and swimming. But I'm interested in sports. :-)
I can't see snow flakes falling, but we do have snow outside, a lot of it. Here we have "comfortable" 0° C. Just the right temperature for walking around the little lakes, or staying at home.

Sounds OK to me. In my recent travels to Europe, I have only seen falling snow twice. Once when my wife and I were trudging up that slope at Fussen to walk to Neuschwanstein castle and another year when we were in the Dolomites, just before crossing over into Austria.

Looking up old songs on the internet.

I found this one. They Gotta Quit Kickin' My Dawg Around (The Missouri Dawg Song)

It's worth googling. I thought of putting this up on post your pet, but decided not to. :)

I just finished the last episode of Downton Abbey about an hour ago! It was so good!

Still need to check our Mr. Selfridge!

Wasn't it, though? Can't wait for the next season.

Mr. Selfridge is good. Love the era, the customs and the clothes. Too many commercials on iTV. I'd rather it was available on Netflix or Amazon.

I've got to check for the latest Mad Men episodes, too.

Was episode 6 the last one, or is there more after that one?

I didn't realize that Mr. Selfridfe was an Amercian who founded the famous Selfridge store. It does look good and can't wait til PBS begins showing it next month!

On Amazon season three of Downton, there are nine episodes, which are all available to watch on a Downton season pass or by buying individual episodes. Depending on which way you pick, they're all still less than two bucks each. The Amazon episodes are the UK episodes. I don't know if they're edited down or what for overseas viewers, like on PBS, but Amazon specifies, so there's probably some difference.

That's great to hear that Mr. Selfridge is going on PBS. I might watch them again there. iTV has too many freaking ads.

I was curious when I first started watching Mr. Selfridge and I read that he was an American who helped transform Marshall Fields in Chicago, then went to London on vacation and saw an opportunity for a modern department store, then went on to create Selfridges.

That is so interesting! I love shows like that! :)
