I just gulped down some horrible juice that my husband made with green veggies. Kale was one of the ingredients. Ick. It's supposed to be good for me. I hope so, because it's sure not something I'd drink for pleasure.

Ewww.......not something I'd like to drink. Sounds like those little shots of blended wheat grass we have here. I tried one of those, never again! ;)

During the Christmas update my animals were wearing hats, scarves and mittens :)
Certainly far from extreme where I am, moderate temperature. It very rarely snows here.

You have beautiful showers Leelai and Skimonkey, compared to mine with an ugly sliding glass door...

Regards.

My dog has a beanie. Goes nicely with her coat. But we never get snow where we are. ;)

Thanks Goof!

Yes, like licking the inside of a lawn mower. My husband grows wheatgrass in flats sometimes, to juice. Bleh.

I don't have pets, but my sister does and she loves dressing him! He doesn't like it, but she is just thrilled when she finds another cute jacket for him! ;)

Thanks for the bathroom compliment-we had our home reconstructed about 5 years ago. I had a sliding glass shower door in my condo and found it difficult to clean it. This new door, we just use a squeegee on the door and the tile and cleans well. :)

Ha! I'm shutting down the transporter grid. I'm certain there's a rule about not beaming Kale smoothies. ;)

Isn't Kale what happens if you have a transporter malfunction??

It sounds like you need to experiment by adding a sauce, such as Worcestershire or soy, to sort out the taste. ;)

Blah....that sounds way too healthy! ;) sometimes I think it's better to eat it whole rather than liquified! ;)

I'm with you here. Blending veg takes away the taste and colour of well cooked individual sides.

5 a day is important. We were also told that the more colourful your plateful, the better it is health wise.

Thanks, no experimenting for me. It's not a big deal, just icky, but healthy. We eat lots of veggies, because my husband is mostly vegan, lol. He cooks non-vegan for me. He eats mostly vegan for health, and makes exceptions here and there, but mostly not.

It looks good. So are you opening a military school branch for them? ;)

One course: How to bombard unwelcome people with nuts. ;-)

Of course, they do have to do their National Service, after all.

I love having a colorful plate of food-it looks more appetizing and is also good for you too!
