I do the same thing for Project Gutenberg, whenever the mood takes me.

I've worked on some very interesting old books, including the autobiography of I.K. Brunel.

That's cool. My niece is a volcanologist and went to Iceland to do post eruption study of the Eyjafjallajökull volcano.

Interesting to see that name again and the spelling. In 2010, May I think it was, I was booked on a flight to Frankfurt via KL when that blighter exploded. I learned how to pronounce it then after anxiously staying on the net. Thankfully Lufthansa was one of the more sensible airlines and got things moving; made my flight. Thanks for that memory.

Watching from the window damn snow and listening pop and rock music. I live in south of Europe... So, it's wintertime now.. Since I am a motorcycle rider it's logically that I hate snow :)

Ski, you might want to check this out: Amazon.com: Amazon Instant Video: Amazon Instant Video

It says:

DOWNTON ABBEY: SEASON 3 SPECIAL OFFER: Buy a TV Pass for Downton Abbey: Season 3 and you will instantly receive all remaining episodes in the season on January 29th, almost three weeks prior to their broadcast on TV.

Ski, I just called Amazon and asked them to credit me for the four episodes I bought of season 3, and bought a TV pass for the whole season instead. It's only a 5% saving, which is insignificant, but I want the whole season early, lol.

I didn't even find out about the TV pass till just I posted earlier, because I went looking for you. I remembered that buying for iPad requires an extra step (buying from Amazon's website) because the Amazon Instant Video app on iPad doesn't offer in-app purchases. (I usually buy in-app from one of my Kindle Fires, not from iPad.)

Now, I'm thrilled because I know that come Jan. 29 I'll get to see the whole rest of the season.

Hi Kaykaykay--thanks for the tip. I tried to look for the Amazon instant video app when you first mentioned it, however, I couldn't find it. In the meantime, I managed by subscribing to Hulu and was was able to watch the the second season and also the first 3 episodes of season 3. PBS will show season 4 tonight. I hope to watch it if I could, it's just been a little bit crazy here right now. Thank you for thinking of me!

Gabe also told me about Mr. Selfridge. He says it is really good. PBS will show that in March if you are interested.

I use Burt's, too. My current one is the tinted version, in Red Dahlia:

Tinted Lip Balm- Burt's Bees

I'm also alternating between two Jamba Juice flavors of lip balm -- an orange-y one and a lime-y one. They smell yummy. There's one I picked up in Asia that's a lemony mint. Love the tingle and scent, but I have to ration it, because I won't be getting any more soon. Oh and there's Kiss My Face in coconut pineapple. Yum.

I really like Burt's bees products. I am skin sensitivity to a lot of things except this one. I have used the passion fruit tint and also merlot tint for "evening" shade! I haven't used the Jamba Juice brand, but sure does sound yummy to have and eat! I do like lemony lip balm also, but it is sometimes hard to find any here in the State...so I'd be like you and use it sparingly! :)

Glad you got to see the episodes, however you found them.

In case you want the Amazon video app: Amazon Instant Video on Apple iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch

(Clicking on this should take you to the app in iTunes.)

Amazon Video got episode 4 of Downton Abbey season three maybe two or weeks ago, so I've watched it a couple of times already, lol. On Tuesday, Amazon has promised, subscribers of the Downton season will see all remaining episodes of season three.

I tried Hulu, but couldn't find anything I wanted to watch beyond a Korean movie, so I watched and canceled my subscription. I'm on Netflix and Amazon subscriptions, and I use VPN to stream British movies and shows on iTV, BBC and TV Catchup, and Asian movies from apps and websites.

Episodes of Mr. Selfridge are available on the iTV app, so I might check them out. Thanks for the tip.
