I have that problem. I also find earbuds painful to use, probably thanks to jamming then in place!

In the end, the best small earphones for me are ones with over ear clips.

When I replaced my mobile phone, I wad given a free set of WESC headphones. They are comfy to wear and produce good sound.

I have custom ear plugs and they are definitely more expensive, but worth it for me because I travel a lot and unexpected noise is hard to anticipate or control otherwise, and I don't want it costing me sleep -- affecting health and job performance. I've considered requesting customized earbuds, but the cost hasn't been worth it given the alternatives. I only wear earphones when I must, and I ended up getting the over the whole ear kind for longer use, over earbuds, which I use much less frequently.

Ah, steady Eddie, I always wanted one of those Z1100R Eddie Lawson replicas, the old sit up and beg style........and I'll never forget Randy Mamola getting thrown off his bike, running alongside it holding on the handlebars and as I recall jumping back on......but I may just have imagined that last bit!

I got to see both of them ride at Brands Hatch, those were the days!
