It may replace a laptop, but you're still going to need some kind of other computer. Otherwise you won't be able to activate your iPad 2.

I love iOS autocorrect. This forum will remain comical just for that alone. That and iPad keyboard misstypes.

GlenL, its a oint I've made in the past, that we may be moving to a more terminal like home setup. Once centrel media server and a host of satellite devices that push and pull data from it. The iPad is one such. It is a self-operating terminal, meaning it can function when not attached to "data server" using local content but it is at full ability when a connection is there. Which reminds me i need to go pull a video off YouTube for a teacher. Were blocked at the distrinict level from all that good (and bad) content. Very annoying.

VPNs are fun.

He may have just been a wandering soul, but protecting ones self against fandroids & trolls is a full time job. So I remain weary of these mythical creatures.
