Snow day people! Our school is closed as is most of the schools in Somerset. Thick snow outside. Richard, Gab?

Well if our local supermarket is any indication, they had an onslaught of customers panicking. They said it was like Xmas shopping all over again. Anyone would think the shop would be closed for weeks. Do the maths! That was last night. It's whether you have all essentials, Richard. Be prepared for people bowling you over for their bread and milk, Hee Hee. Aren't people strange?

When I went out to leave the refuse for collection, I felt a distinct chill. It must be -3degC, with a breeze chill factor on top to bring it down to "-5degC" :(

Yesterday I mentioned that the highest recorded temperature in Sydney was 45.3°C...

Today has officially surpassed that record with the temperature reaching 45.8°C

Today was really a scorcher even during the little rain we had earlier

Good morning everybody--hope our UK members aren't snowed in too badly! Lucky for the school kiddies though, with having a snow day! ;)

It's 11F (~12C) on this side of the world! No wind and no snow... Predicted sunny day.

It's snowing here too, I just popped to the local supermarket to get some bread and you would think that Armageddon is coming!
