I haven't paid anything yet, but I see you could go faster with money.

You don't have to pay anything, ever if you don't want to. But if you buy mojo in the game, you'll be able to level up quicker. It's quite playable though, without any spending.

The reviews on the app store made it sound like it was worthless without paying after a certain point.

Take either...
They are the same.

I have both installed, and can alternate between them and everything is the same.
Gold is the newer one for all that it matters.

I lnow some people who use both, using different logins. You can buy things from yourself that way.


There was a bit of an uproar when they came up with the new one, and nerfed some of the better crops to a high level,
but they restored that after we rioted!
