Virgin Mobile Offering Prepaid Hotspot plans

Seems a little expensive. i've been using a pay as you go mifi from 3 which cost about £60. Works well on the occasions I need it.

Finally a option for those that don't want to sign up for a contract. Plus this should work for me when I'm in Puerto Rico visiting family

My want to check the international rates. I dont know about virgine mobile but I just called verizon and this is what their fees are.

$129 for 250MB international data
$24 per Megabyte while on a cruise.

I checked already and PR is included within "US Plans" (actually so is my T-Mobile service :)

Yes I think it's expensive but I like the fact that I will only use it 4 times a year (if I go every quarter to PR)

I'm struggling with returning my Sprint Overdrive in favor of this......only because of the pay as you go / no contract deal. The Overdrive rocks.

FYI - Virgin piggybacks the Sprint network.

20$ to watch a 1 hour video (300mb) puts this into perspective  for me. I don't plan on using my iPad much at all outside of the house. In case I do, I will tether it to my WiFi enabled Droid......

How much more are you paying to tether your droid and how much bandwidth can you use a month.
