Usb microphone?

Is there any way to connect a USB microphone to record music through the iPad? That would be really great and easy to travel with, as I mostly play acoustic music on the go.

Yes but I want higher quality audio, and I have been using my USB mic for years so I have gotten to know how to get exactly the sound I want

Through the Camera Connection kit, yes you can. Works great with Garage Band.
