Unsuccessful @ Accessing my Email Contacts through the iPad email App..

I use Yahoo Email for some of my Contacts..My Problem is trying to access through the iPad email app to delete a unwanted Contact......I did this through going through the Yahoo Homepage..But unsuccessful through the iPad App as the Unwanted Contact still comes up...What am I Missing or Not Doing Right....Your Help is Appreciated..Thanks

If you want to delete a contact, you'll have to do this in the Contacts app.
Tap the contact that you intend to delete, then select "Edit":




Scroll down there until you see this:




Here you can delete the contact.
