Hi, since I am à new user in the iPad world I kindly need some assistance if there is any. My problem is that trying to upload files using web browsers (tried Safari, iCab and Skyfire) the Choose File are greyied out and I am unable to upload e.g my photos on my blog. Tried to find an easy solution to this on Google but unable to find one without including a hacking way to solve my problem.

Would really appreciate help or guidance in any way!

What website? Check the App Store. Many popular photo sharing sites have their own apps.

If iCab Mobile did not work, then you probably won't find a generic browser solution. It works with most sites, but not all by any means.

Thanks. The website is a blogg site called Travelblogg.se. Tried some apps and some other browsers but no luck. However, iCab used to have that feature before but as it seems there is no simple way to solve this. Sadly.. Maby in an upgraded OS there will be.

Some sites allow photo uploads with a URL address. If yours does you can upload the photo to one of those sites first, and used a link to that file. Unfortunately it requires a full link, ending in the file's name and extension. Few sites still generate this type of link, preferring secure or shortened links that end in some sort of text hash.

Dropbox can generate the right kind of link, but the file must be in the public directory, and you have to generate the link from their site. The app only creates shortened links, though you can use it to upload the photos to the DropBox public folder.

Flickr won't give you the direct link, directly. However if you ask it to generate embedded code you can copy the needed link out of the result. It begins with http: and ends with the file's name. You can only do this from their site. You can use the app FlickrStacker to upload photos to it.

You take that code and paste it into the URL upload option on your site, if it has one.

I'm sure there are other cloud storage and sharing sites that will do the same, but those are the only two I'm sure of.

Thanks for the welcome. I think this site will be really useful; as long as you reply in idiot fashion!
I have tried to upload a photo onto a dating site and Gumtree. I was really surprised my iPad did not enable me to do this. Am I
right in understanding that this really is not possible? I thought I could move away from my laptop but it looks like another reason why I need it.

It is possible but just not from Safari, you will need a different app for this. I've heard iCal Mobile will upload but it doesn't upload to every site, so not sure if your sites will be supported or not. You could drop the Developers a line to find out. I remember someone saying Gumtree had their own app, have you checked that out?
